Falkenstein Castle

My lovely girlfriend and I have certain ideas about the sort of place at which we will be married. We’d both prefer to have a wedding somewhere in the Texas Hill Country, an area of rolling hills and rugged beauty. We have been doing some searching around online and have found a number of great places which exude the spirit of the Hill Country.

We also have found a number of places which do not.

The Falkenstein Castle is in the Hill Country but doesn’t make our list for oh so many reasons. (Warning: The link will take you to a page which plays an introduction sound file. I’m sure the people who have been married there enjoyed it thoroughly, but I can say without any doubt that the lovely girlfriend and I won’t be stepping foot in the place anytime soon.
